Has anyone made a water per cent (%) correlation scale for moisture meters that have a relative scale of 0 to 10. Compost sites discuss favorable water conditions in terms of water %. If you know of a site that has made or calculated conversions of same please send me a link.

----------

Not that I am aware of.

My approach to composting is more of an individual user / practical approach. You might check the EPA.gov web site in their Municipal Composting area and see if there have been any studies like that done by large scale composters.

The rule of thumb is that compost should be about the dampness of a wrung out sponge.
